2014 Toyota Hilux Invincible double cab, 4wd, 77k miles, MOT until end September 2021, full service history(main dealer serviced), manual transmission. NO VAT TO PAY. I have owned this truck from new and it has been used for both work and as a family vehicle. It has been well looked after but does have a few minor scuffs and dents as to be expected for its age and use. Features include PAS, air con, multimedia system including built in hands free, bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, usb port, automatic headlights, ball and pin tow bar with 13/7 pin hook up, central locking/alarm/immobiliser, privacy glass, rear parking camera, etc(for more specs please get in touch). Tyres have plenty of tread left(been on for approximately 10k miles). Seats are cloth and in very good condition as can be seen on the pictures. Box on the back is removable and has an adjustable height cross bar. Box also comes with a removable, folding, height adjustable plywood roof if wanted. Selling due to it no longer being required. For any more information or to arrange a viewing and test drive please contact me on 07958063610.

  2. I had a 2014 Hilux 2.4 until recently. When I got it it had one battery. I installed a winch. I also installed an extra battery and a T-Max charge box to look after the batteries. I just replaced that Hilux (because I wrote off the old one - don't ask) with a 2014 3.0 which has two batteries installed already. Do I connect the winch to the battery at the front or the battery at the rear of the engine bay?
  3. We are looking to get a winch fitted to our Toyota Hilux - Does anyone have any recommendations for a company that could supply and fit one and/or the best brands to look at ? We are based in Kent. Thanks !
  4. Last summer I picked up a stock Hilux MK5 2004 with 72k miles for £6,000 which I thought was a bargain. A year on, after mods and a chip box I built, here she is.
  5. So I’ve secured a new job at a firm of which requires a new truck. After a bit of searching I’ve decided to order the new Hilux extra cab with the tipper conversion from Toyotas “Trade Plus” scheme. Here’s hoping it’s a good choice. I’m not sure on Toyotas lead times for delivery but I’m damn excited. Here’s a stock image of what I’ve gone for...
  6. Hello Folks, we have been thinking of getting one of the road going forestry trailers to be able to pull it behind a hilux to bring it to the site and use it on site to extract to the roadside. What do people think? Good idea, bad idea? Downfalls? Lots of the sites here have bad access. We don't really have the capital to buy tractor as well and then even if we did we will still need trailer to get it to site so thats why we're thinking of going down this route. The hilux is 2494cc, year 2004, the trailer we've been looking at is fast tow breaked trailer from RIKO, which can come with flat bed or bolsters and has hydraulics to move the bed back and forward on the chassy to adjust the weight. They come at £14200 ex VAT - we'd get 40% of that covered by FFIS. Any experience sharing will be most appreciated! Mostly worried about overtaxing the hilux and wrecking it!
  7. Before I start, I apologise as this has probably been said 1000 times before but I couldn't find anything specific to my circumstances. I'm looking in to my first truck (only 20) so need something I can use for both work and personal use hence a pick up truck. My question is... which do people prefer, a double cab and the instant ability to be able to store kit away in the back seats securely and live with the loss of space or..... buy a single cab pickup with more space in the back and then have to weld up some sort of a box in the back so that you can still get to the tools if the truck is full with chip etc? a bit like this Also..... I'm based near Plymouth and currently on the market there is a 11 yr old double cab hilux with 97,000 miles at Bristol for £4,995 or a 55 plate double cab ford ranger on 130,000 miles for £3,500 in Exeter.... is that a good deal and or which one shall I go for?! cheers
  8. I'm looking to buy a Hilux or similar for weekend work. Just wondering if anyone had anything for sale, or any advice for me. I'm currently still a student so looking for a truck as an everyday vehicle as well as for jobs. Im looking to spend 3 to 4k. Cheers!
