Chipper use Desired: 39 Chainsaw in canopy, 41 Rigging, MEWP, PTI L 2 or L3 Formal training in horticulture and arboriculture desired Basic knots and rope operation for rigging Chain saw use and safety Chipper use and safety Electrical hazards training Emergency procedures General work site safety Hazard recognition Relevant experience: 1 year climbing experience (recommended), 3 years preferred Geographical knowledge of Edinburgh and Lothians preferred Interested? We have been established since 2001 and with recent rapid growth in the arboricultural side of our business we are now seeking to take on an arboricultural consultant and more climbing arborists and ground workers to help with current and future commitments. We are looking to employ newly qualified and experienced qualified climbers, ground workers. Hi I'm looking for employment opportunities in and around Aberystwyth mid Wales I have all my own saws and NPTC card for felling medium trees (over 380mm) and also have a collection of climbing equipment as really want to get into climbing if you have any work around here that you need an extra set of hands on I'm always willing to help many thanks in advance 🙂
  5. Hi all - I'm looking for a bit of extra work in / around Walton-On-Thames area. Don't mind travelling a bit but not too far. Contract climbing or groundwork. I'm a fully qualified arborist over from New Zealand. Full climbing kit and PPE with me. Own vehicle and I'll be picking up a saw or 2 soon. Have NZ tickets from basic chainsaw operation and maintenance, climbing and aerial rescue through to advanced rigging and close approach utility (powerline) work. Experience doing a large range of work from residential pruning and removals to large scale land clearance, commercial work and utility arb. Applicants would conduct a variety of works centred around land management, tree and scrub clearance, habitat creation and protected species mitigation.
