  1. Hello, We are looking for a climber who is interested in joining our small team in Hamburg, Germany, which already consists out of a few English Climbers. We can offer many possibilities including accommodation, train tickets, beverages and most importantly team moral and a fair salary. If you would like to find out more about us, feel free to visit our website: www.dynamische-baumpflege.de If you are interested in working together with us, please feel free to contact us via E-Mail: [email protected] We look forward to hearing from you.
  2. Considering a potentially long term move to Germany. Does anyone know how easy it is to find work there currently? I've 5+ years climbing experience and a foundation degree in arb so am hopeful despite visa complications etc. I'll be looking around the Hanover area. Info of any kind is greatly appreciated! 😁
  3. Hi, I'm a subby arborist based in norfolk currently looking for work within the area (sub contract or full time) I have my 30 31 38 39 b+e and chipper ticket as well as the usual climbing kit, top handle and ground saw. I would also like to pursue work outside of the UK in Europe, ideally Germany or Sweden if the opportunity is there. If you need someone or have any questions please feel free to get in touch and I can also send my cv to you with more details if required. Cheers, Ryan.
  4. Our client is an established contractor based in west Germany. Employing three teams of arborists they mainly undertake domestic work in the affluent cities of Bonn and Cologne. The company is owned by an English man who has lived in Germany for 30 years. He also has two English speaking sons who work in the business. One of their staff has recently left and so they are looking to employ an arborist to replace him. Candidates must be fully competent arborists and be able to undertake any climbing work that is required. The client is looking for climbers with several years experience and NPTCs for aerial use of the saw. In addition to the climbing the arborist should be able to drive the work vehicle and deal politely and professionally with customers. In return the client is offering up to 200 euros per day (£160) on a self employed basis. PAYE working is also available and would be from 10 to 16 euros per hour plus paid leave. The client can provide free accommodation by way of a furnished flat which is equipped with English TV and is in a very desirable location. For more information please contact [email protected] or call 01743 344466 quoting reference 1709-5
  5. Hello all, As the title suggests I'm looking for work in Germany starting 1st week of September. Some of you may have seen my posts on the arbtalk facebook group enquiring about work in Sweden which I am still pursuing. However I've decided to extend the search to Germany as it looks equally beautiful! I would be happy to work anywhere in the country, although anything in/around Cologne or the Bavaria region would be ideal. I have just over 2.5 years climbing experience, and have recently returned from a years work in New Zealand. I have CS30/31, 38/39, 40/41, Lantra Chipper, CSCS/ROLO and a Level 3 Diploma in Arboriculture. I have experience with a wide variety of tree work including reductions/pruning, dismantles/rigging and felling. I have my own climbing kit, PPE and transport. If you would like to talk further please don't hesitate to drop me an email at [email protected] Alternatively any recommendations for companies to work for or useful contacts would be hugely appreciated! Danke!
  6. I'm looking for advice on working in Germany, in particular the Hamburg and Schleswig Holstein region. Are British qualifications and tickets recognised out there? What are climbing techniques A and B? Are there any Brits on here working in this region that might have any links to work? Is European tree worker a necessity or would ISA certified do (I have neither)? As much info as possible please! Cheers
