  1. Hi all, I am working on a new website aimed at children ages 4 to 11 which will provide education about forests etc. I am fully aware that the FC and woodland trust do a similar thing but I want to create my own with the help of others. And then get local contacts for the areas. I am looking for any ideas, input etc. and also volunteers to help keep the site running. All you need is a bit of spare time and access to the internet. No web design skills required. Full credit will be given to any work etc. A few people have already contacted me from ArbTalk and this is great, maybe some more of you will get involved. I dont think I can post the website address on here but if you want it, PM me. Nothing much online at the moment apart from a form where you can register for updates. I plan to have the site up and running in the summer. I hope this project does work out well as far too many kids these days would rather sit on the Xbox 360 or their i-phones than go out and play with twigs and cones!! And also hope to cover ages 11+ at a later date. Sponsorship so far will be from Shell UK & Adventure Forest Ltd Any firms out there want to sponsor the site?? Anyone who would like to get involved should PM me or email me: [email protected] Thank you for your time, Lee:001_smile:

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
