  1. Looking for a pool of people to be employed on a casual basis at an Ecological Consultancy based near Huntingdon for groundwork. Established in 2008, we undertake arboricultural works both in the Commercial and Domestic sector, working for many private individuals as well as Local Authorities and Public Sector clients and continue to grow and expand, achieving Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor status in July 2017. Due to continued growth and demand locally we are currently seeking an arborist to join our small and dynamic team working within our busy and vibrant company. As an experienced climber you shall be confident and suitably able to lead a squad, and be responsible for day-to-day running of work sites, interfacing with clients in a professional and courteous manner based from our yard near Ely in Cambridgeshire. You should have the following qualifications as a minimum: NPTC CS30, NPTC CS31, NPTC CS38, NPTC CS39, NPTC CS40, NPTC CS41, EFAW +F (or equivalent) Other desirable qualifications include NPTC CS32, NPTC CS35, NPTC Chipper, HGV and professional qualification in Arboriculture, but are not essential. You should have a minimum of three years experience working in a similar or equivalent role. In exchange for the above, we are able to offer favourable terms of employment on a full time contract. Remuneration for this position is negotiable and shall be dependent upon experience. Location East Anglia/ South Essex Contract Type Permanent - Employee Working Days Monday to Friday Working Times Between 07.00pm and 5.00pm Shift Pattern none Working Hours per Week 40 hours Pay Rate £23,000.per annum Fountains are part of the OCS Group and is one of the UK’s leading providers of facilities management infrastructure and property support services supervising the delivery of forestry and arboriculture services. Working as part of a team, you will undertake vegetation management on an 8 year contract managing vegetation along 400KV overhead Pylon transmission network throughout England and Wales. You will carry out tree surgery and arboricultural maintenance operations at various sites in a safe and compliant manner. Working to contract specifications, agreed schedules and in accordance with company and statutory standards, you will carry out a range of duties ensuring day-to-day problems are dealt with and problems solved. All training, PPE, Climbing equipment, Chainsaws, vehicles and corporate clothing will be provided. To succeed in this role need: Previous experience in an arboricultural role. Previous experience in the safe operation of a broad range of powered machinery. FISA (NPTC) Certificates CS30, CS31 CS38 CS 39 and CS40. Utility experience and qualifications (preferred) - e.g., units UA1, UA2.1 UA2.2. A full UK driving licence preferably with the ability to tow (B+E). Ability to work well as part of a small team. PA1 & PA6 Herbicide spraying (preferred) Brushwood chipper certification (preferred) Pole Saw certification (preferred) Level 1 First Aid qualification About the role: With a firm focus on Customer Service, compliance with Health and Safety regulations and the promotion of safe working practices, you will work within a team of operatives delivering arboricultural services on the 400kv Overhead lines vegetation management contract.   4. We are currently looking for someone who holds CPCS excavator tickets on a self employed basis to use as our excavator driver. Tractor tickets would also be beneficial.   6. Hello all I am a newly qualified tree surgeon currently looking for work around the Cambridge/Ipswich/Norwich area. I am preferably looking for an employed position, but would also be interested in sub-contracting if necessary. I have CS30/31/38/39 NPTC certificates, Subsidiary Diploma in Arboriculture and First Aid at Work. I also have my own PPE and transport.
