Heritage Utility Arb is recruiting for our ESB Networks vegetation management programme across Cork and Kerry 🇮🇪 We are currently looking for: • CTL Timber Lead (Forestry Team Lead) • PICW – Person in Charge of Work • UA1 Utility Arborists / Groundsmen Work involves tree surgery and vegetation clearance near overhead electricity lines as part of the ESB KTL programme. Mandatory NPTC / City & Guilds qualifications: - 201/202 (CS30) – Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross Cutting - 203 (CS31) – Fell & Process Trees up to 380mm Climbing units preferred but not essential: - 206/306 (CS38) – Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue - 308 (CS39) – Aerial Cutting with a Chainsaw PICW & CTL applicants must have: - PICW / CTL approval - UA1 qualification ESB inductions and UA1 training can be organised for experienced groundsmen or climbers moving into utility arboriculture. Pay Rates: - Groundsman: starting from €200 per day - CTL Timber Lead: starting from €250/300 per day - PICW: starting from €350 per day Higher rates available for highly qualified and experienced candidates. We undertake primarily large scale contract arboriculture utility works, rail, construction, highways, site and ground clearance works for utility and insurance companies, across the Midlands and are undergoing a period of rapid expansion. We are looking for experienced arborists to join our teams. Candidates should ideally be experienced and must work well within a team environment and under instruction. Minimum qualifications for standard applications are NPTC CS30, 31, 38, 39 & 40 (41 is an advantage), a current first aid certificate, chipper certification and a full driving license with towing ability preferable. We are looking to recruit time served experienced arboriculture personnel, you will need a current CSCS qualification in addition to the standard NPTC qualifications. This is to carry out large scale site clearance works across the Midlands for a variety of clients. We offer excellent rates of per pay depending on experience, competency and method of employment.
