Kubota f2400 out-front commercial diesel mower 4x4 with high lift collector. Sold for spares or repair. This mower is sold as not working, it does start after a lot of bleeding and the mower deck does work. It is 4x4 and has collection box with high lift. There is no connection tube between the deck and the collector, this could be replaced with any strong flexible tubing. The main issues are the engine sounds like it is close to dying and the radiator needs repair or replacement. Looking online a new engine for this machine is between £800-£1000. similar machines online are selling for £3600 or more. Any questions, feel free to ask.

  7. Hi, new to the site as of today. And am just starting out my new business. I currently have a Landrover Freelander, but am looking to change that soon to a pick up, as I'll be doing Tree Surgery as well as Gardening services. Specifically, I'll be looking at a 2010 Ford Ranger, and there is an auctioneers near me that deals in ex utility vehicles. The ones I am looking at are the ex electric company ones. Something like this: https://www.gumtree.com/p/vans/2010-10-ford-ranger-supercab-xl-2.5tdci-4x4-pick-up-c-w-fibreglass-top/1329919483 I basically want just the outer shell, and want to be able to remove all the shelves/storage from the inside to make space for kit/equipment, and will probably customize some storage if needs be. Does anyone know if it's possible to remove everything from inside the pickup section?
  8. Hello Folks, we have been thinking of getting one of the road going forestry trailers to be able to pull it behind a hilux to bring it to the site and use it on site to extract to the roadside. What do people think? Good idea, bad idea? Downfalls? Lots of the sites here have bad access. We don't really have the capital to buy tractor as well and then even if we did we will still need trailer to get it to site so thats why we're thinking of going down this route. The hilux is 2494cc, year 2004, the trailer we've been looking at is fast tow breaked trailer from RIKO, which can come with flat bed or bolsters and has hydraulics to move the bed back and forward on the chassy to adjust the weight. They come at £14200 ex VAT - we'd get 40% of that covered by FFIS. Any experience sharing will be most appreciated! Mostly worried about overtaxing the hilux and wrecking it!
  9. Looking at an ex military RB 44 for conversion to a tipper for tree work. Searched and read everything I can on the internet but would like to talk to someone who has one. Is there anybody out there ?
  10. Hi all, I'am 20 years of age and i have a Mitsubish shogun sport elegance 4x4 which i need to get insurance for. Now the most expensive being £14,000 through Tesco and the cheapest being through Adrian flux for £3,800 FOR THIRD FIRE AND THEFT, fully comp is in the £5-8000 region. I have tried most of the comparison sites and most 4x4 insurance specialists. What i was wondering is if any body knows anyway (besides getting another car) of getting a better quote than £3,800 for third fire and theft. ideally i would like fully comp if possible but at £5-8000 its very steep. is there any insurance companies any body knows of that can give me a good cheaper quote? Many thanks in advance for your time and answers
