  2. The largest recreational tree climbing company in the UK urgently requires instructors for events this weekend. The Role You will be required to work alongside a team leader to deliver recreational tree climbing and a zip wire to up to 42 participants in a day. Participants have paid a premium price to take part in a unique, hour long experience in small groups. The event days generally last 8am-5pm (including setting up and taking down equipment). The events this weekend are taking place in: Saturday: North London, Stroud, Henley-on-Thames Sunday: Dorking, Wokingham, Worcester As it is short notice we understand candidates may only be able to help on one of the days; however being able to help on both is advantageous. If successful on the day(s) of work regular future work is available on a freelance basis. The Candidate Essential: -CS 38 (climbing and aerial rescue qualified) , or soon to be qualified and understand the basic principles. -physically fit and healthy -smart and presentable appearance -live near one of the work locations mentioned, or be able to commute to the location. -be over 18 years old -has no criminal convictions which result in you being unable to work with children Desirable: -experience working with children -have a car and driving licence Pay £70 a day (you will be working as self-employed and need to provide an invoice) If working two consecutive days and staying overnight in local accommodation (paid for) an additional £15 will be paid towards expenses.   11. NPTC CS30/31 Qualified and experienced chainsaw operators preferably with CS38 and CCS39. Utility/Rail qualifications and/or experience would be desirable but not essential. PPE will be provided - Full Driving licence would be preferred. We are looking to recruit two additional chainsaw ops and/or climbers to join or growing team as a full time employed member of staff.   12. In a small practical industry like arb, everyone seems to know everyone and large HR departments are rarities, it seems CV's are not really relative. Do you rate a CV? Do you read CV's or is a letter/email/phone call more important? If you do value CV, if so what do you look for in a CV? Any particular CV Gripes (Too many pages/pictures etc) Looking for advice, from an employer / manager’s perspective.

Hi all, I'am currently approaching the end of my level 3 arb & forestry diploma. as a result i'am currently looking for anyone that can take me on for jobs even if its a couple of days a week. i'm hoping that i shall have my cs30/31 ticket soon. i'm a hard worker and have had a few jobs with arbs that have taken me on for a few weeks in the past. i would like for someone to give me a chance and i would quite happily just drag brash through a chipper etc. i enjoy ground work and hope someone will take me on, i'm in Lincolnshire but have 4x4 transport and a post 1998 car license if i can be any use to anyone please contact me regards

We would require you to hold valid NPTC CS30 and 31 certifications.   22. Hello All my name is Ian Clarke. I am a self employed climber/groundie. I have got 3 years experience in tree surgery. from small domestic work to bigger contracts. I have got my 30 31 38 39 my own saw *top handle* climbing kit PPE and transport with full clean driving licence and public liability to £1million i have a good work ethic *stay till the job is done. and am happy to drag brush all day to trimming hedges to rigging jobs and everything in between.
