  1. Hi there, We request mostly chipping, if logs are mixed in, this is fine also. No brash. Only chippings or logs. Drop off in car park, not layby. If it does you a favour to get rid of your chippings and logs, we'll take them! It's easy to drop off, just give us a call if you are passing with a load. Thanks for your consideration 👍 Ali
  2. Firewood Fuel MK & Browns Tree Solutions Ltd - These are my family run businesses in Milton Keynes, all arb waste here is recycled into our Firewood business. We can accept any amounts of arb waste including chip and logs. Give us a call to let us know beforehand so we can make sure someone is around for you. If you're working on a site and need help with extracting timber or waste then give us a call to discuss your requirements as we maybe able to help. Contact Numbers: 0800 862 0863 07832169952 07427517453
  3. Hello, In our Nursery and Forest School we will gladly accept woodchip, long or short logs of all sizes and any wide trunk cross sections as we use them as seats. Our Forest School areas always need a top up of woodchip, as we use eco methods for weed control etc. and around the playground equipment. Access will need to be arranged through Liam the site supervisor either through email or telephone. Drop off behind the big blue gates (next to Stags Head Pub) on Orsman road between 4pm and 6pm Monday to Friday as our carpark will be empty at that time of the day. In exchange we can offer cups of tea, coffee and biscuits. If a regular agreement between us comes to fruition then we could potentially pay per m3.

  7. I am just starting up a flower farm in a walled garden on the estate. The entrance to the garden is a bit tight at 2.5m but I have had wood chip delivered there. I have a plastic sheet set up by the entrance to dump wood chip on and you can either reverse in straight to it, or drive in an maneuver on the grass.
  8. Will pay extra if you deliver it in bulk bags but not 100% necessary - Gate is about 4wide so a big lory truck will not fit.

  11. MelsAllotment

    Mel's Allotment

Our allotment is located in a nearby horse field so to need to avoid chippings that are toxic to horses: Black Walnut, Maple, Cedar and Conifer. Call 07784670649 to arrange a drop and for directions if needed
  12. Hello there! We are a friendly allotment site whose members are currently desperate for woodchip. We offer payment of a box of biscuits Woodchip is used for for many things on our site, including: paths, weed suppressing, and sustainable growing practices which include using it as a soil cover to prevent water evaporation (which then reduces water use and so helps us all to be more environmentally friendly) We would be grateful if you could share any free woodchip with us as we are always in need of it (particularly so at the moment as our members are all very busy getting prepared for the 2023 growing season!) If you are able to drop then please call beforehand and one of our committee members who live locally will come and let you in the gate Many thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.
  13. Harmony Woods is a 10-year planting project, giving all the children and young people in our community the chance to turn 12 acres of land into a natural urban woodland, increasing biodiversity and providing a wealth of opportunities for learning in and about the environment. These 12 acres sit within a 44-acre wood, all of which is new woodland managed by Andover Trees United.

  15. Seb-bower

    The Bower

I can take tipped loads of woodchip of most sizes. It's going into veg gardening so no nasties please. Any wood is fine. Just off the "Green" at Lymbridge, there is a short track (25m) signposted The Bower. Drive down it onto a large concrete hard standing with turning space. Tip the load onto the large lawn area. Easy to turn around and come out again.

  17. Thax

    Jess

We're seeking some woodchip for a kids play area. We can't take oak tree chippings. We can also take logs for campfires please. We can't take anything that give off poisonous fumes. When burned such as laurel. Many thanks.
  18. Call me I don’t need much notice. I can open up and you can tip off no problem and will pay for the logs Thank you
  19. We are a community orchard and allotment site that needs regular wood chip for making compost, paths and mulching. Ideally not more than 25% leylandi mix, although we are less fussy if it's just for path maintenance. We are happy to exchange produce such as eggs and fruits with a local reliable, friendly tree surgeon who can provide us with wood chip. We are also looking for some logs and stumps suitable for a natural children's play area. Vehicle access to the garden is possible via two gates and a one way system, but if you have a wide vehicle it will likely not fit down the bottom track, so will need to be left at roadside. We would need to arrange a time in advance to ensure we had enough volunteers to swiftly move it!
  20. Free tip site for arb chip, log chip & logs. Green waste charged per van/trailer. We do not accept fence panels, grass cuttings, soil or general waste. Open 0800-1700 Mon-Fri, no appointment needed, staff always on site. Large clean yard. Convenient for Coventry, Rugby & Mid Warwickshire.
