  5. Our client is a medium sized contractor based near Stockholm in Sweden. They operate several teams working for local authority, commercial and domestic clients in the Stockholm area. They are looking to employ a fully competent climber for the Autumn/winter from mid August onwards. He will pay for outbound flight and provide discounted accommodation and transport. Rate of pay will be £15.50-£18.50PH, for a basic forty hour week. However, there is the opportunity to increase earnings through over time if desired. Candidates must be NPTC qualified climbers with at least two years experience. Able to prune and dismantle to high standards.   7. Hello Everybody I'm french and I just came back from New Zealand. During 4 years I studied and worked in Forestry (as worker and Technician) Now I would like do a new training to be Arborist Climber and practise this job. i heard that it's possible to do an one year internship in Sweden or Finland with a professional. I also heard that in Ireland and The Uk are some good trainings too. Do you guys know about any companies in Sweden, Finland, Norway (especially) or Ireland and the UK which are able to take someone for an Internship. or about any possibility to get an training to be a arborist. I'm really motivated and i want to increase my knowledge and learn more about tree care and also how to work with urban trees. Cheers Toto

Just nu söker vi två erfarna arborister till vårt arbetslag, för ett större projekt i sydöstra Sverige. Projektet är på minst ett år och det är viktigt att du som söker är beredd att stanna hela projekttiden ut. Krav: minst två års dokumenterad yrkeserfarenhet efter avslutad utbildning, Säker skogs motorsågskort ABC, giltig första hjälpen utbildning (ABC), dokumenterad utbildning i trädklättring, hantering av motorsåg i träd och räddning i träd, samt giltigt B- körkort . Certifiering från ISA och ETW eller motsvarande är meriterande. Eftersom många av våra medarbetare är engelskspråkiga måste du kunna kommunicera på engelska. För dessa två tjänster krävs även att du behärskar svenska språket i tal och skrift. Boende och transport kan ordnas av oss. Lön enligt överenskommelse.   11. Just about to leave sunny Queenstown NZ and heading back to either West London, Scotland (Edinburgh/Perthshire) or maybe Sweden... Does anyone remember which Stockholm tree company Complete Tree Care were recruiting for a year or so ago? Or failing that does anyone know of companies in Sweden/Norway/Ireland/France who pay well and are looking for lead climbers? I know we are heading into winter in the Northern Hemisphere but money calls. Cheers
