  1. Hi, we are after an experienced climber with NPTC certs. on a part time self employed basis. We operate in West Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Send me an email on [email protected] with your details. Cheers.
  2. This will likely require being a groundperson for 4 to 5 days starting on Monday 26th September so must be able to stay away for several days. Will be travelling from Bath to Sussex and Doncaster over this period to undertake tree surveys for roosting bats. Should have own climbing kit, insurance and climbing certificate available with aerial rescue. All expenses paid including hotels and food. Will drive in company vehicle to the sites, just need to meet in Bath, Somerset. If you are interested or want more info, send your details and I'll be in contact with more details. Brady
  3. We are a small Arboricultural Association 'Approved Contractor' . We require another climber on a full-time or 6 month contract basis. You MUST HAVE AS A MINIMUM NPTC 30, 31, 38,39, 41 , Current first-aid certificate, a CLEAN driving license to include class B & E or pre 97.. We also require a minimum of 5 years CLIMBING experience, or that you are an exceptional climber with a good working knowledge of BS standards & tree biology, if you have less.... Your attitude to the job is also of great importance, we need someone to 'muck in' and help with clearing up, to get your team home earlier etc... There is a decent salary & more available to the right person. Either PM or telephone 07971624646 or 01367 810208 speak to Debbie or even better email [email protected] with your CV Goodwood Tree Care Ltd
  4. Hi all, ive recently been discussing with a few businesses I skip between around my area and it would be much easer to get payed if i became self employed. I only know self employed carpenters and assume the deal with equipment use and insurance is completely different. Could anyone explain to me which type of insurance i would have to be getting? and is there any legal holdbacks to whose machinery and equipment i can use? I think i have the general jist of recording expenditures and earnings and invoices and other stuff like that. thanks
  5. Im looking at registering as self employed, I done a very brief bit on it at college but since then it has all left my head:scared1:. I understand you have to ring up and register your business to start with and a accountant is needed, I know this is barely scratching the surface and would appreciate any help.
