  1. We are looking for 2 qualified chainsaw / brush-cutter operatives who hold current BESC and NG persons tickets. The candidates must be experienced, hardworking and responsible, over 25 years of age and with a clean driving licence. The work is in the South Wales area, and is for a minimum of 2 weeks. Start immediately. Accommodation can be provided. Good rates of pay. Please PM for more details.
  2. Evening all, Apologies if this is posted in the incorrect section, please inform me admins. I have posted this position on Facebook and I apologies (once again) if some of you have seen this and I have not replied to you, I have had many applicants but no excuse not to reply. www.desertgroup.ae is located in Dubai, last year I started up a tree division within the umbrella of the company mentioned. I am looking to employ a candidate who will most likely be pretty green to the industry as of the salary I can offer but this candidate will begin to slowly manage projects under supervision if required. We maintain large contracts with hotels like Atlantis, One & Only, Madinat Jumeriah and sofitels, whilst obtaining contracts with building contractors and facility management companies so our work varies. I'm sure many of you are asking yourselves how many trees can Dubai have and just to give you an idea, madinat Jumeriah has over 4000 trees including palm, yes... and a contract I am managing currently has 3350 not including the palms. so we do have plenty over here and the position will be on going. we can offer up to 1500 pounds a month housing Visa, health insurance company vehicle climbing kit training and progression The right candidate will hold at least CS30/31 full UK driving license knowledge of plants, trees, P&D & fungi would be a bonus. we will be using a recruiters to help in the process but that may take time to get going and with the large contracts and training keeping me busy I am finding it difficult to find new business and meet with existing clients. Hope this tickles some of your fancies.

  24. Just like being a tree surgeon, but different. Sales Demonstrator - UK and Europe Permanent Full-time Based in Stowmarket Travelling the UK and Europe demonstrating our class-leading chippers and shredders isn’t for everyone. Some of you will enjoy spending your evenings doing quotes, filling in tax returns and paying accountants. Some of you like nothing more than a rushed breakfast, skipping lunch and climbing trees in the cold winter air. You’re tough cookies. Good luck to you, and may you always buy a Timberwolf. But when you next sigh, or curse, or wonder what else is out there - think on this. You can use your knowledge, your CPC, chainsaw ticket, NPTC 2 and C1+E licence to do something different. Dare we say, better. You probably know a bit about us, our 30-year heritage, our impressive factory in Stowmarket and our class-leading machines. But not everyone knows about our easy-access service points and simple blade replacement. Not everybody has got to grips with the size difference between a feed mouth and the chipping aperture. Fewer still have seen how narrow a gap our tracked chippers can fit through. That (and much more besides) is where you will come in. As a Demonstrator in the Sales Team you will be out there with individual customers, at trade shows and events all over Europe. When you’re not seeing the world and winning new converts, you’ll be back at base planning more events, updating our system with notes and leads, helping with deliveries and installations, researching competitors and entertaining clients. This is no more a 9-5 than being a tree surgeon, the difference is you’ll get a regular salary, regular travel, regular hotel breakfasts, regular great coffee, regular opportunity to chat with other enthusiasts and a career that is anything but ‘regular’. Call 01449 765805 for more details or pop on our website for details and an application form in the About Us section under careers. wood chippers | shredders | professional
