  18. Hello everyone, it's time for the next addition to our company trees-london.com, things have gone pretty well over the last 3 years so I'm looking for someone RELIABLE and CONSCIENTIOUS. If you are obsessed with whittling then please don't apply because the trucks are full of shavings already because of James The way I work is to pretty much give you everything you want and let you get on with it, there is a quarterly company bonus scheme that has varied over the last few years from £pffft to £500 after tax. We usually do 5 to 20 hours overtime a month at time and a half. I need someone straightforward and motivated who just gets on with their work, as with any tree company the overall success is down to people pulling their weight. We like to keep things relaxed, but there's a lot to do! You must have aerial rescue and basic felling because I can't use you otherwise. You will be working in a team of 2 or 3 doing all the usual stuff in pretty much any area we can get to within an hour. Please send me a CV or a quick email to [email protected] if you want to pop in for an interview. Thanks, Tom. Tree Team Manager.

  20. You may have looked at the thread i started about a trainee position, i have since gained an interview at moreton morrel college and fingers crossed i will be starting in september. I am asking if anybody may need a laborer on an ad hoc basis? Then possibly turning into a full time labourer in the months of june, july and august, if the position is there. I say this as i am 18 just finishing off my a levels in the next couple of months. . I really want to gain some experience in the industry and save up some money to get me through college. I understand that to get anywhere in life i need to graft as hard as i can, and that i will do. I have had some experience in our smallholding. I helped my dad fell, split and stack what must be close to 200 dead elm trees and convert them into fire wood. I have been working part time for the last two years and have gained alot of qualities which will help me be a good worker. I am also willing to do a couple of the groundsman NPTC courses before i start if it is needed. I have a car so i can travel pretty much anywhere around the midlands/warwickshire and surrounding areas. I would really appreciate anything anybody can do for me you would be really helping. Ill work extremely hard to make your life hopefully alot easier. If your at all interested please email me or give me a ring and im sure we can work something out, as far as im concerned im pretty flexible.
  21. Morning All, I got both my other staff from Arb Talk so I am reluctant to use other means, but I'm now not getting any CV's through, please come out of the woodwork, I will consider any experience level. We have several months of work to get through and I am looking for two committed and self-motivated staff who want to do some good Arboriculture. 1) 17-20k starting salary with increase after 6 months 2) 5 to 35 hours overtime a month at time and a half 3) Quarterly company group bonus scheme (profit based) 4) Growing Wimbledon based tree services company 5) Tree management services in London and across the UK - Microbee Please get in touch.... [email protected] Many thanks, Tom.
  22. Hello everyone, I have good news. We are a Wimbledon based company with Housing Association customers, managing agents and a growing domestic customer base. Through ArbTalk I have hired Tim and James, they both seem quite happy, they laugh, they climb trees, they eat moss, those sort of things. I have recently had to turn off the advertising because we were getting overwhelmed so it is time for a 2nd team. Tim and James are both climbers so I need a dedicated groundie and a new trainee climber, although I will definitely consider an experienced climber for one of the positions. Basically I need 2 more staff and could do with anyone with a good work ethic and a good attitude. You must have aerial rescue I'm afraid. We have a group company bonus scheme which is based on profit from the 4 Microbee companies, in the past it has been up to £1000 in a quarter, and these days will hopefully be back when we kick this recession. We work on a starting salary basis for about 3 months and then we will increase your pay once you have proved yourself. Please send CV's to [email protected] I look forward to hearing from you, Tom Evans Tree Team Manager.
  23. We are a small Arboricultural Association 'Approved Contractor' We require a good hard working groundsman on a full-time basis. You will need NPTC units 30, 31, 38, 39 as a minimum, as well as a current first-aid certificate and a full CLEAN driving license with classes B & E or pre '97. You will be part of an efficient team, you will be paid a decent salary and other perks if you are the right person. Please PM or telephone Debbie on 07971624646 or 01367 810208 or even better email [email protected] with an up to date CV.
  24. hi all. first of all let me tell you a little bit about me i have been workiing for a couple of arb companys in buckinghamshire for round about a year and a half now after leaving school i was at work the next day, i have just started an arb apprentiship at moulton collage in northhampton (got a taste of the out door work way as a young boy and cant get enough). i orgialy went to collage to study music technology but after deciding it was a dead end as i enjoyed arb so i knock it on the head. i am hard working and will graft for my money without moaning. i currently dont have any tickets (too expensive to sit just at the monent on my wage packet). i can provide you with a reference if one is required. unfortunatly jan til round about march is very quite for the small companys ive worked for so am in the need of more work in the diary. please get back to me if any of you can help me i also have my own ppe
