  1. Hello, In our Nursery and Forest School we will gladly accept woodchip, long or short logs of all sizes and any wide trunk cross sections as we use them as seats. Our Forest School areas always need a top up of woodchip, as we use eco methods for weed control etc. and around the playground equipment. Access will need to be arranged through Liam the site supervisor either through email or telephone. Drop off behind the big blue gates (next to Stags Head Pub) on Orsman road between 4pm and 6pm Monday to Friday as our carpark will be empty at that time of the day. In exchange we can offer cups of tea, coffee and biscuits. If a regular agreement between us comes to fruition then we could potentially pay per m3.
  2. Nursery based on leisure park off Asfordby Road. Forest school area can be accessed from Sysonby Grange Lane, off Asfordby Road.
  3. Evening all, My better half is a Forest School (think outdoor learning) teacher for a school in Bideford, North Devon. I didn’t know if there was anyone based near by who wanted to lose some some large rounds of timber? She needs them for use as seating around the fire circle. Can be dropped straight off back of van in staff car park. Quick and easy. Anyone able to help drop me a message 😁
  4. Hi there ... new to this forum ... we are setting up an outdoor education Forest School at Coxlease School near Lyndhurst in the New Forest, Hampshire. We need about 10 logs for a log circle. I am very happy to pick up if reasonably local. Thank you in anticipation. Steve
  5. We are a preschool who runs weekly Forest School days in local woodland. The location shown is our preschool building as you cannot get all the way to our woodland site in a vehicle. We would then transport from there. We would be happy to receive stumps and log pieces for the children to sit on and smaller logs for activities and to burn on our campfire. As we do not own the site, we are limited to how much we can accept, but we will take as much as we can. Please contact to arrange delivery in advance
