Hi, About me: 23 years old, been working as a domestic tree surgeon since I was 20. I have the basic tickets, CS30-32, arial rescue, chainsaw from a harness, stump grinder, chipper and basic first aid. I hold a full UK driver's licence and have my own vehicle. Of the last 3 years I have been climbing regularly for about 2. I'm not going to sell myself as the best climber going - I still have a lot to learn and master - but I'm confident I could be an asset to someone's team. I have experience working in all weather both up trees and on the ground, forest maintenance, roadside/traffic management jobs, garden and street tree work. I have a Level 2 certificate in Arboriculture and I'm currently studying the Level 4 Diploma in Arboriculture through Tree Life. I'm currently working as a tree surgeon in North West England and I would like to move up further north and work in the countryside, but depending on what's available I wouldn't be opposed to working in an urban environment either. I just want a change of scenery and to try somewhere different if I'm honest! If you have need of someone like me please drop a message. I will consider any and all options 🙂 Thanks and have a nice day!

In combination with a Level 3 in Arboriculture it gets you the leg up to an interview for a technical post - from climber to tree surveyor/tree officer and beyond. Now’s not the time? Not sure whether you’re ready? Or already have a PTI? Never fear – we are also offering a one-day Fungi course – another useful arb qualification. The prizes are being offered by Tree Life in collaboration with us and they are both courses which will support Arborists on their career path and other technical positions. Once we’ve said hello back and had a short conversation, we’ll pop your name in the pot and you’ll be in with a chance to win. *Small print: The course financial values are £450+vat and £120+vat respectively but it’s the value to a career we’re interested in. There is no cash alternative – the winners will be decided by Tree Life and CTC Recruitment and the judge’s decision is final. Hello! I'm a 25 year old, relatively rookie climber with a years experience looking for an opportunity to work abroad. I'm based in the South of England and have City & Guilds Level 2 certificates in Chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting, felling, climbing, aerial rescue and aerial cutting. Are there opportunities for fairly new climbers such as myself? And is it relatively easy to find and successfully start work abroad? Thanks

Freelance climber needed to work in South West London ! Regularly or even just for one offs if available. Hardy Tree Surgeons is a small tree surgery business based in Putney, London which has been in business for over 20 years. The majority of our work is through recommendations and repeat work. We carry out a wide variety of work, private woodlands, golf courses, schools, survey work, installing bat boxes, chainsaw milling and abseiling eyebolts! ( plus a lot of rigging and zip-lining!) We try to maintain a strong work ethic carrying out work that is best for the tree this often means we take longer to carry out the work hopefully achieving better short and more importantly long-term results. We always spend a bit longer to make sure the work is carried out to the highest standard rather than having targets to hit which can cause jobs to be rushed. Pay is dependant on experience (£160 - £200 / day as freelance) ~ 8.30am - 4.30 pm Please email CV or give me a call if interested. Hi. One of the companies I sub for has gone bust so looking to fill 1 or 2 days a week, though am flexible up or down. Chilled out guy that likes to get the job done. Based in SE22 but can travel within London. Been climbing nearly 3 years, doing all sorts of different works, with another 2 years on the ground. All my own kit except chainsaw. Happy and comfortable with anything except the largest fells/heavy duty rigging. Light build so good at getting out far for leggy reductions. Have my cs 30/31/38. Was promised cs 39 paid for by said company for almost 2 years but, now that they've gone bust, looks like I'm paying for it myself so I've booked it in for end of this month. For what it's worth, I've been using chainsaw in tree for as long as I've been climbing and the assessment will be just a formality. Been on £120 a day for every firm I've worked for in the last year plus, so that's what I'm looking for to start. If your interested, pop me a message and we can discuss further. Cheers, P
