Self employed groundsman/climber wanted in Putney, London Hardy Tree Surgeons is a small highly professional tree surgery business based in Putney, London which has been in business for over 14 years. Pay to be discussed depending on experience, not mentioning specific dosh anymore but it's plenty, especially after overtime at time and a half. Please send CV's over to [email protected] Equal opportunities policy dictates that you can be female or gay as long as you are still good at climbing trees. Best regards, Tom

We're based in Wimbledon and work all over London. Please send CVs or a quick personal summary to me. I need the cover for 3 weeks, but if we're busy I might well need you to hang around. Best regards, Tom [email protected]

  19. Hello everyone, I am trying to find two part time staff to work 3 days a week on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. This would suit a trainee level or experienced person who doesn't want to work full time. We are normally overwhelmed with work all summer and are seriously full now, so the 3 days a week is a minimum and a full week is quite likely. The positions will be at least 6 months and quite possibly permanent. We're a nice company to work for, literlally nobody here has ever taken someone's life or stolen a car and gone ram-raiding. Sometimes we just spend the day saving the lives of woodlice that have found themselves in a spot of peril. One of us is even a vegetarian and will only eat animals if they have died by misadventure. I will pay you £83 a day, which is based on a self-employed basis, so own PPE and climbing equipment. It's basically £22,000 a year if you were foolish enough to work without any days off. We usually do 5 to 20 hours of overtime at time and a half. So realistically your average daily pay will work out to about £95 and therefore a salary band of £24k. CS38 alone is an absolute minimum requirement, please do not apply if you cannot rescue someone from a tree. Please DO get in touch if the specifics of these positions don't quite meet your requirements, I want good staff and can be flexible. I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks, Tom [email protected]
  20. Hi guys & girls Just a quick one to say i am still available for work. Been climbing for 3 years (2 of which were for a large AA approve contractor). Worked with a few arbtalk members, and was very happy to help fuda out when his climber let him down (http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/54797-job-well-done-stand-climber.html#post837150). I hold public liability insurance along with CS 30, 31, 38 & 39, copies available on request. I have also passed the three written exams for the Arb Association technicians certificate and I am now waiting to take the practical examination day. I have all PPE and climbing kit, a climbing saw, a few ground saws and lowering kit and dont mind traveling. I also have a tipper transit and 6" chipper available and hold IRATA level 1 ticket Many thanks Richard [email protected] Wolverhampton 07964 083 735
  21. Hello everyone, I have successfully hired my last 4 people off here, so here I am again. I need a new trainee with their own PPE to work on a day rate of £75pd, either part time or full time, this is because The Owl is leaving us and going to Sweden which is a shame, apparently there's a good woman there I need CV's please. I am half inclined to take on someone with plenty of climbing experience for £21,000 (plus 28 days holiday), but it is very important that you aren't pathalogically grumpy because I will notice. Anyway, please apply too. We tend to do 5 to 20 hours overtime a month at TIME AND A HALF, pretty great isn't it! We also have small bonuses every quarter that pay between £0 and £300 generally. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Tom CVs to [email protected] Microbee offer professional and affordable tree management surgery and services in London and across the UK
