  2. Utility Arborist Climber wanted Total Trees are established arboriculture contractors based near Nottingham. We undertake large scale contract arboriculture utility works, rail, construction, highways, site and ground clearance works for companies across the Midlands and are undergoing a period of rapid expansion. We are looking for an experienced confident and competent climber to join our Utilities team. Candidates must be experienced and work well within a team environment and under instruction ideally with previous experience on Western Power works. Minimum qualifications for standard applications are NPTC CS30, 31, 38, 39 & 40 (41 is an advantage) and UA1 to UA2.3 inclusive. A current first aid certificate, chipper certification and a full driving license with towing ability preferable. We are looking for an experienced time served climber to join our expanding Utilities arboriculture team working on Powerline vegetation clearance up to 33kV. Ideally, the successful applicant will: • Have had previous experience using digital data capture. • Have an understanding of basic construction methods and terms.   4. BTS is seeking experienced and driven team leaders, arborists and groundsmen to join our tree cutting division. Working in the Stoke, Telford and Shrewsbury areas, you will be part of a team responsible for vegetation clearance on the overhead electrical network. This work is to support a recent long term contract award in the area. Practical experience of overhead line vegetation clearance work is essential and we are keen to hear from individuals with UA certificates up to and including 2.3 as well as NPTC CS 39 qualification. This is a physically demanding role working full time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. A full driving licence is essential.   6. Hi, I'm a level three arb student at Easton college about to start my final year. I have recently moved to the norwich area and I'm looking for work. I'm willing to go self employed if insurance is an issue and I currently have a lantra chipper ticket cs30 and cs31 as well as my own ppe and chainsaw. I have been working in arboriculture for a year and have a drivers licence and transport. Thanks for reading the post, Ryan.

Small job, but I'm keen to practice filming as much video as possible, for the following reasons; It's good for website SEO The team like to share their exploits with family and friends It's a useful learning aid - spotting mistakes then discussing alternative techniques It can be fun, adding an extra dimension to the job Clients also like to see the videos Like most arbtalkers, I'm learning all the time, and hope to make steady improvements as I pick up tips along the way (in both video and work generally!)

We will also be running a 0020-12 (Old CS30/CS31) course in the week commencing the 11th May. We also have coming up, 0020-13 (Old CS38) the following week, the 18th May.   14. Hi all, I am pretty new to the industry and have been recommended to sign up to Arbtalk to get some advice on buying new gear. I have just finished my course and I am looking to buy some PPE, Climbing equipment and a topper (probably the new Husky 540 as its just arrived!).
