  8. BIG G DESIGNS

We are situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with plenty of space to turn around. We have a large front gravel drive with wide access. We have had a 24 ton cement mixer reverse in quite easily.

If logs are to be dropped off they can be dropped to the right of the drive on the block path as well as on the gravel. Please do not drop anything on the right side of the drive as there is an LPG tank in the ground. You will see the area with the green tank lid.

If we are full on the drive, timber can be tipped on the common ground to the right of the drive where the silver car is parked in the photo. The path there is usually clear.

  11. Green Lane Allotments

The allotment site has a dedicated tipping bay for woodchips, accessible from a surfaced carpark. The site is just off of Green Lane in Acomb, on a back road opposite Dijon Avenue (see map image)

Vehicle access to the site is through a locked gate, so please text or call in advance to organise access. Please leave an answerphone message if we don't pick up and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Woodchips are used by all plot holders and are used up relatively quickly, so it is always worth asking if you have some to spare and we'll see if we can accommodate.
See map for entrance route (blue), gate location (red) and woodchip bay location (green).
