  2. Hi can anyone ID this fungus on the base of a big oak tree? And is it cause for concern? Many thanks
  3. This tree blew down in the recent winds. I think its a Luccombe oak from the leaves. its about 150cm dimaeter at the base and the main butt is about 5.5 m long up to where it starts getting really branchy. Acees is good you can drive right up to it. Is it worth anything, is it worth getting someone to plank it up or is it just firewood?? Cheers Slooj
