  1. Okay, got it. Thanks a lot and have a great day.
  2. Hi Stere. Thanks for your answer. They are inside because we had a couple nights of freezing temperatures, and I brought them inside for the night and will move them back outside on the balcony in the morning. So I shouldn't read too much into the fact that only the top buds leafed out, is that right? Thanks.
  3. Hi. I'm new to tree care and was wondering: I bought a couple columnar apple trees (different types) for my balcony and both mainly have leaves and flowers in the upper part (except for a few scattered here and there). I realize that being young and just planted a couple months ago, they won't have full bloom this year. But I'm thinking ahead to next year, when I would like them to have leaves on their entire length. There are a lot of buds that are already present but haven't leafed out. Will they bloom next year, or is there something I should be doing to encourage them to leaf out (maybe in late autumn or winter)? Thanks a lot.
