Yeh I must be blind but I've had a good look under and found a nice little leak just above ish the gearbox

It's a completely stock disco 2 (for now) 

I haven't thought of the xyz switch or the transfer cable so thanks for those shouts

I will let you know tomorrow if the dash screen changes when I select gears

Yeh I did it two years ago to see for myself and that's what I do now for my own use and towards September/October I put a tarpaulin over it 

Check out the Beckside Machinery splitters - used and abused mine for a year and a bit and it's solid - comes ready made too!

I paid £975 for this on 155k miles - might just use it for now and see what happens 

Probably a stupid one but I've brought a 2003 Disco ES model that's in fairly good nick and it's just going to be a towing/occasional use car

Just wondered, are they appreciating in price or not otherwise I was thinking of dry storing it but not as it could just be a waste of time 

Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to have a recon tourqe converter fitted on my disco?

Or any help as to why it doesn't drive... Doesn't move and when you put it into park it makes a scraping sound. The gearbox is topped up but I need help!

Absolutely! Gone from absolutely nothing to 100 very fast... Good videos to watch and informative
