  3. Hi All, I received a number of large tree branches/trunks from a friend (he moved into a house where the branches/trunks were left in the garden). I have a log burner, so the plan is to chop them up, season them and burn them when they are dry enough. The worry is it is a species that can't be burned; it looks like Elder and I understand Elder is poisonous. Any insight will be appreciated.
