  1. The ground will get a lot of improvement in the next few weeks. The house was just moved in this spring and we weren't able to get grass planted before the summer heat hit. It was hot and dry earlier this summer but it was just odd this one didn't turn until after it started raining more. Had some locals say Hackberry trees have shallow roots so they're prone to drought, just never had one in my front yard to pay attention to I guess! Thanks for the replies!
  2. First time here and hoping you all have some ideas for me! I've got a hackberry tree in front of my house that has recently gone yellowish and started to get brown spots all over the leaves. Driving around the countryside, almost every Hackberry I see was yellow long before mine. I live in NorthCentral Kansas and have never seen this happen before. Just would like to save this tree of possible. Thanks!
