Hi all any help in identifying this tree would be greatly appreciated. There was two trees in my garden both needed cutting down, but after cutting the first one I found the wood in side was a stunning colour and very dense/heavy. I do a bit of wood turning so asked a few friends and nobody apart from one could recognise the wood, saying he thinks it is box Elder by the colour of the wood but the leaf doesn't match any box elder I can find when I do a search for box Elder.
