  2. I'm curious about the growth habit of laylandii and how they recover when cut back beyond last green point. If a branch is cut back beyond the last point it is green will it produce a new shoot from a dormant bud? I ask because I know when they are a hedge you only prune as far as it's green.
  3. Hi all. I had some of my spare chains stored in the van and I saw today that a couple of them had some rust on the links. With a touch of bar oil and a wee wiggle they've loosened up. But I'm wondering if they are now unsafe to use? Do they just need throwing out?
