  1. hello. can anyone tell me how serious this is? these little bits of bark have been falling from the Chinese elm since the rains started. they are covered in thick orange slime that i guess is sap? it's not sticky, just slimy. no smell really. is it slime flux? thanks in advance for you help! i'm worried about the tree as its huge and beautiful! DS
