Thanks Jay will drop him an email. I'm in Kent Steve, I'm just doing an assignment on decay-detecting techniques (specifically PiCUS, Resistograph and increment borer) and part of it is weighing up their costs vs their benefits. Costs being the cost of hiring a qualified consultant to carry out the test as opposed to the cost of the machine/tool itself. I've been scouring the internet for prices and can't find any upfront information on the sites so just going to send out some emails and hope some will kindly share the cost of hire.

Hi everyone, I'm currently doing the Level 4 diploma in arb and looking for any information on the approximate cost of hiring a consultant to use PICUS 3 on a single large tree. Any information on the cost of hiring a consultant to use and interpret a resistograph and increment borer too would be really helpful. I'm based in the south east of England. Thanks a lot.
