  1. I’d like to get advice of more experienced people on this platform only being 2 years in the industry but it seems the limb you showed is dying/dead. Is there perhaps any sign of any fungus around the base of the stem?
  2. @adw . I generally take it up a tree if that’s what you mean.
  3. Hi, thanks for the feedback. Yes I am a qualified climber but experience wise I have only been doing the 3 years. With the revs I mean when I press the throttle i don’t go full throttle to max revs. Maybe it is as you mentioned a tight spot in the clutch as it’s brand new though I haven’t discovered this issue on any other new saws we have had so far. To be honest the saw only needed the bar fitting so it’s Factory prepped. I’ll have a deeper look into it and might strip it.
  4. So recently it’s been my birthday and my father who is in the trade and only does Stihl saws got me my first own Echo top handle for my private use. After starting it we quickly noticed that when we rev the saw slowly it won’t turn the chain if that makes sense. It’s like it’s a bit delayed having to go full throttle and it slowly starts building up. The saw is brand new and the chain, bar and tick over seem to be alright. Just wondering if anyone has had any similar experience. Thank you for any help.
