  1. glyphosate products probably not a good idea if you just want to kill the nettles as it will kill everything else too! search for broad leaved weed killers, we use garlon at work it does a good job on nettles, brambles etc and the grass is fine. Stick to the manafacturers reccomendations mix too strongly and it'll kill the leaf and not the root. Apply on a dry evening or overcast day otherwise the weed killer will evaporate. it'll be more expensive than roundup(glyphosate) but all depends on the job that needs doing. ed
