I think it’s heat or drought stress.

The 1124 has nothing like the ability of the Matbro Teleporter in the woods
It cannot lift even half as much and the teleporter is great at helping trees go down in the right place as well as easily dealing with hung ones. Another plus is that the muck grab is above you helping to guide the tree and protect against falling rotten branches
Today we have been thinning some 80 foot high sycamore which were planted too close and the trunks are only just over a foot in diameter. They are so close together that every tree becomes hung up
Just a nudge with the teleboom is enough to bring them down and if not a chain around the base and a short bit of reversing. The logs are stacked at ten foot lengths and I can pick up a large bundle with the old muck grab and deposit them gently on the log table by the Palax
I would like to restore the old 1124 back to agricultural spec. ( ducks down under desk to hide from missiles!)
There wouldn’t be any missiles being thrown from me. Any pics?

Check the coil. Can be a bad connection in these. I had a similar problem with my 630.

Is it a Vario model? We have a T series so not sure but is there a switch when you spin the seat that's not tripping?
Thanks for the reply, it's the Hi-tech and a 121 about 10 years old.

Apologies for hijacking the thread. Does anyone here have a twin trac (reverse drive) N series? Would there be a reason for it to be stuck in reverse drive only? Or was it ever a factory option to be available only with reverse drive from new? I can't see any benefit to only having reverse drive, so I presume something has broken in the transmission.

Paddy went on holidays to the Med. All week he was having no luck with the local ladies. In his hotel there was an Italian man who was having all the fun with ladies. So Paddy bought him a drink at the bar one night and asked Tony what was the secret, how do you have all the women flocking around you all day, and all night?
'It's very simple' says Tony, 'You take a banana and you put it down your speedos. I guarantee you the women will go crazy for you.'
'Great' says Paddy 'I'll try that so in the mornin and go to the beach'.
So Paddy, next day with the banana in the speedos was on the beach early. But every time he approached a group of girls to try chatting them up they ran away screaming.
That night, back at the hotel bar Paddy spotted Tony and charged over towards him, shouting 'You bastard Tony, you told me to put a banana in my speedos and the women would be flocking around me. Instead they were running away, screaming and covering their mouths'.
'Ah but Paddy when I told you to put a banana in your speedos, I meant for you to put the banana down the front, not the back'.

Roundup works well. But you need a warm, sunny day in mid August to hit it hard with a good soaking. In August the plant is starting to transfer nutrients down to the roots for the winter. By doing the first spray in mid August you have a chance to do any bits you missed the first time again in mid September.

Nice looking stakes, I hope it's European larch though. Any chance of a photo of the cradle. What was the problem with it?

Silky saws should have a hollow handle for a band aid and super glue

For bedding cattle I find dry conifer chip to be the most absorbent, compared to fresh Ash. I haven’t tried anything else. I have no tests done but from personal experience ploughed in muck from spent woodchip bedding does reduce N availability in the first year after spreading.

Dummy lock at normal height with 12g cartridge attached to go off when hasp is opened. Put the real lock at ground level. Around here a simple cctv sign deters travellers. Seems they don’t like having their photo taken.

Hi
my parents have a few trees that require some work! They have a maple of some description, it has dark red leafs? That needs re-pollarding when would this best be done? Would waiting until next winter be best or could it be done through the summer?
the second tree is a big oak, it’s been reduced about 5 years ago but now they are thinking of having that pollarded! When would the best time to get someone to sort that? They want it doing soonish so it’s not blocking the light trough the summer!
I think you'll have to wait until August September time to do the purple maple. I think if you cut it now it will bleed as the sap is probably rising already.

Keep the ripple. It's probably rarer than wider boards IMHO. How much wider will the boards be the other way?

They put small cable tie on gate or railing of property where they spot valuable dog. Then come back later to steal.
the traveller gangs are more efficient at planning than the best utility companies
We've found that some female versions can read and rite on Irish forums too, it's got to the stage that we might have to be careful what we say about them online now.

As to OP, I reckon the numbers could be depth.

How far does it reach? Must be an Irish thing, I bought a Silky Ibuki blade on ebay and a florbest handle fits on nicely.
The Bahco pruning saw is good value for money, easy enough to put a telescopic brush handle on it too.

Wood 'Shed' ideas... I'll apologize in advance... | Firewood storage, Outdoor firewood rack, Wood shed
WWW.PINTEREST.CA
Aug 20, 2012 - Hi all,I realize there are a bunch of threads about wood shed ideas on the site (have been...Just imagine a sheet of tin on top, and a couple of heavy posts at the end, would be pretty close to mine.

I notice certain wood rots in different manners. A prime example of this is oak, it can rot away or turn to bone oak which takes a very long time to break down. Does anybody know the reason for this?
Tanins in the oak I guess stop it breaking down. To answer OP we are chipping the tops and light branches, cutting the heavy stuff into 4m lengths and stacking it near the house. Will cut and split it during the summer. We make mini shed with 2 posts each end, 8ft apart, with 2 pallets tied to the posts. Then stack the fire wood between the pallets about 5ft high. Screw some batons along the top then screw an 8x4ft sheet of galvanised corrugated iron on top. It’s cheap to extend too.

Try and keep the kink in the planks, someone might like it as a kitchen counter top end. If it doesn't work out it can always be cut off afterwards.
