  1. I know how much amusement it’ll give you pros watching a gardener in full PPE cutting down a few 4ft saplings but that’ll be me. I’ll be safe, thank you for your concern and I will definitely call the pros for the proper sawing jobs
  2. No genuinely appreciate what you are all saying. I am literally doing some tidying up in the gardens but like all good novices I have gone over the top and bought all the PPE. I don’t intend to push past my ability at all, it’s just for small jobs, I genuinely appreciate this is a dangerous bit of kit for skilled professionals and won’t take any risks
  3. Appreciate that, will certainly take care and get some training
  4. Helpful, you must be really popular with the boys
  5. Yes originally posted in wrong place, thank you guys much appreciated. Less cleaning and more chopping required!!
  6. Bar is getting oil so likely just a rookie error and my issue for keeping the saw so clean! I should stop playing in the house and chop some wood!
  7. Ok, potentially it’s just because I ran it without chopping anything. The oil holes are all clear so hopefully just because cleaned and ran
  8. I got a new MS181 and it seems to be leaking chain oil pretty bad. Only used a couple of times but the amount of chain oil seems a lot.... this is after a clean and then running chain for about 20seconds only leaks when running, fine when off/not in use. Hopefully just an easy fix or because I ran not whilst cutting. Cheers
  9. This is probably a simple question to answer but my new Stihl Ms181 leaks bar oil when running... is this normal? When it sits turned off everything is fine, only when actually running the chain.
