  1. hi guys, new to the forum been lurking for a little while reading up . first time posting so go easy on me, i just wanted to say hi and ask a question. I've just decided to make a career change as my last job was killing me (shift working etc) . I've recently completed my cs30/31 and am now looking at 38/39. I'm lucky to be in the position that I've been able to buy myself some climbing equipment ahead of the training. My question is this...… could anyone tell me what equipment would actually be required? I have already purchased a harness, rope, petzl zig zag and chicane, lanyard, foot and knee ascender, karabiners, throw line and weight and a helmet and off the top of my head that's it. I've been out today and had a little go I managed to set a cambium saver ( which I also managed to leave in the tree later) climb on a double rope system. also tried srt with a base anchor ( to retrieve my cambium saver ) and made my way around the tree a little. I know hse regulations mean I will now require another system (rope, zizag etc) but is there anything else ive not mentioned that would be needed? cheers guys thanks in advance any help would be appreciated. keen learner here.
