  1. Woodchips are welcome, predominantly non coniferous species would be preferred. Heavily depleted landscape regeneration project, the woodchips will be used in a whole range of ways, but certainly acting as a soil builder for further tree and forest species planting.
  2. Hi - non arborist here, but someone who has frequented the forum for a while, from an interest in tree mangement as well as a woodworker. I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I've been on the look out for woodchips for over a year in this area. Every tree surgeon / arborist I've contacted to see if they had any spare, have seemed to take offence to the question, or appeared confused as to why I might even ask in the first place. So thought I might raise my hand here and see if anyone had a need to lose some woodchips between North Cornwall and North Devon? I'm near the coast on the Cornish side and I can (I think) take as much as you have and on a consistent basis. Happy to give detail if that helps at all. I'd thought this would be OK but given the above, apologies if I cause any offence by asking the question. Cheers.
