Tip site is a turnout area for horses so can only accept wood chips that are not hazardous to horses (i.e. must not contain laburnum, yew, black walnut, privet, laurel, cherry, plum, conifer or rhododendron). Can accept logs of any trees if they can be easily cut for firewood. Access for wood chip is across a field, where the ground conditions are usually good even in winter. Logs can be dumped outside the house using the gravel drive.
