  1. Thats great, thanks very much. It's all just a bit daunting to start off with
  2. Hi I am in my mid 30's and after getting made redundant I decided to go back to college. I'm going through my NPTC course at Ayrshire College which finishes in 9 days. So far I've completed 201 Chainsaw maintenance 202 Cross Cutting with a Chainsaw 203 Tree felling & processing up to 380mm. Then on the 21st I complete the wood chipping and pole pruning. I have been sending away my CV's, however not much luck - any advice? I have got my own transport and I am used to outdoor and manual work after years as a roofing labourer. I have got my basic kit from college. Anyone got any pointers or know of anyone looking to take me on and give me a leg up into this profession? Thanks
