Gumtree is well used in Oz and is a good place to advertise yourself and what your looking for. I turned up to perth and had a full time climbers job with in the first two days of my post been up.

Ive just come back from doing a year of tree work in Oz. You can get a years working holiday visa on the same day you apply. If you have the right quals and experience its really easy to pick up work espessially if your a competent climber, which from what ive seen they are short of in western Australia where I was working. The year I was there I worked for 5 different companies from the bottom to the top of the west coast. Turning up to there yard and showing your face is the best way.
