  1. Well, I pulled the trigger on the 12t electric Venom, arrived today, gave it a few test rings, good bit of kit, but the two handed safety feature was annoying me, especially when using it horizontally, so after a bit of looking at, came up with the idea of a couple of M10 x 70mm rawl bolts down the end of the control levers connected together with a bit of galv tubing crimped flat at either end & drilled, to connect the two. Job's a good un, just have to see if the mod will stand a good bit of use & abuse. The easiest way would have been to remove the whole 2 handed gubbins & put it back to a single lever spool, but couldn't find the right parts it the UK & would have worked out to over £30 from the US with import duty etc.
  2. Any arb waste logs, hard or softwood (possible beer tokens for decent hardwood), not too fussy, it all burns when seasoned, let me know if you want to drop, may be able to pick up 2-3 cubic metres at a time with jeep & 8' x 4' trailer (with greedy boards ). Plenty of room to manoeuvre to tip on driveway/front yard. Room for 2-3 transit type pick up loads
