  1. Hi Guys, Within last few days one branch on my river birch started to bend a little. Only upper part of left branch. It is raining for last 24h but I'm not sure if that matters. No heavy winds, nothing so I'm puzzled why is that. Is it normal or should I correct it somehow?
  2. Is it a problem to set 90° rotor sprinklers in corners of area with tree in the middle? The area is 20ft x 20ft, sprinkler range is about 15-25ft while distance from the corner to trunk is 10ft. Slightly clay soil, tree in the center is River Birch. I understand that watering trunk might increase possibility of fungus infection but river birch usually likes moist soil. Should I be worried or its perfectly fine? Thank you for any advice
  3. Yeah, couldn't spot anything either when inspecting the tree. As I wrote..I picked the tree weeks ago and was just brought yesterday so I assume they had something on their farm that ws eating those leafs.
  4. Professional company delivered and installed 12' river birch I picked few weeks ago. I noticed some leafs are chewed on. My suspicion is larvae of the Dusky Birch Sawfly but I'm not arborist. Is that something serious? should I do anything or the problem will go away? Thank you for any advice.
  5. Hi Guys, Can you help me identify what it is? A lot of leaves have this symptom and 2 branches are dead. How to cure it? Thanks in advance.
