    Thanks. I went in to B&Q and although they sell replacement chains, they said they'd never been asked for a sprocket. Coming from a motorcycle background, I know never to change a chain without renewing the sprockets! I've emailed garden hire spares, thanks for the tip.

    I know it's a cheap & cheerful chainsaw, I just picked it up from eBay for £15. The engine runs beautifully but the sprocket is absolutely shot. Does anyone know where I can get one please?
