  1. Hi there, I am based in Scotland so too far away for your groundie job, although I have been to Peterborough in the past, the kids loved the miniature train. Anyway I'm just starting out having made career change, I have no experience, and was wondering for the purposes of me finding employment what tickets you would be looking for. I have CS30/CS31 chainsaw ticket, what other tickets would you be looking for in an applicant?
  2. Hi, I am making a career move into arboriculture and keen to get work initially as a groundsman, landscaping or similar. I am 43 years old and physically fit with a strong professional work ethic, am reliable, hardworking and self motivated. Recently I gained the CS30/CS31 ticket and in the new year I am scheduled for NPTC Woodchipper and First Aid FAW+F and am also currently studying towards ABC Level 2 Certificate in Arboriculture. As you can see I am keen to learn and progress but I am fully aware how difficult it will be to get some experience so am looking to you to help me out. If you can do with some assistance and wouldn't mind offering some guidance in return I would consider working free of charge. I am based in Dundee but would work anywhere in the central belt, Perthshire, Aberdeenshire, Fife, Angus, Glasgow or possibly further afield. I have my own PPE and 4x4. To discuss give me a ring on 07729515035, email grant.bain@mail.com or reply back here. Looking forward to hearing from you, Grant Bain.
  3. Thanks for the reply Stuart. I've now found a course First Aid +F and its local so that's perfect. All the best.
  4. Hi there. This is my first post so be kind just made a career change and passed CS30/CS31 ticket to start. Also began ABC Level 2 cert in Arboriculture. I would like to do a first aid course can anyone advise a suitable course? There's a red cross facility in my town so that would be ideal. I see standard courses and also a high risk course but that one is more expensive. Thanks in advance
