  1. Hi all, just come across this very informative forum when trying to find some info on copper beech trees. Was hoping some of you kind folk might be able to help. We have a copper beech in a house we moved into 2 years ago. The last 2 springs the tree has not come fully into leaf, but only on one side. I think we may have unknowingly pulled out some of the fine roots when gardening. Then had a fence fitted where some cowboys have probably chopped through a root or two.
