  1. Where about do you live happy to have a look. PM me if you like.

Hi Tomtop, I live on the Suffolk/Essex border. I'd be more than happy to pop up to Norfolk to determine if I'm right or wrong. After around an hours use I can't feel my hands, unlike my ancient Dynamac (yeh, I know), which even after 12 years use is silky smooth in comparison.

  2. Well, the Clacton dealer agreed with Tripp Batts that it's running fine. However they said it's a 4 stroke running on 2 stroke mix, whilst TB said it's a 2 stroke with valves. No difference there then :)

A mechanic friend of mine says it's running s###e, so not sure what to do now.

  3. I put the premix Ultra in, but the shop was happy to sell the red stuff for it. When these things are running right do they rev freely? Mine seems to choke above half throttle. I would say it was running rich, but there is no sign of smoke, and the dealer says its fine. Yeah right!

  4. Hi all,

Just got a brand new KM130 from a Suffolk Stihl dealer. I've used the premixed fuel recommended for the machine and I'm not impressed. It's ok up to half throttle but above that there is no appreciable increase in revs up to full throttle, it's destinctly unhappy and there is an increase in the machines vibration level. I took it back for the dealer for them to have a look at and they say it's running fine. Really? Is this true? What would be the point in having a throttle that is only good for 50% of its travel? I would really appreciate your thoughts.
