  1. Surely it’s the network provider that should be negotiating with you to remove some woodland? They should have tested the network signal before any apparatus installation. They obviously are either not meeting their contract obligations or the police authority have allowed them to drive the proverbial coach and horse through the contract and are trying to save face/ reputation?  Either way they need to compensate you.

  2. 1 all draw after extra time, England Won on penalties 5 - 3. There ya go, that’ll ruin for those Arbtalkers that we’re going to watch on catch up and could have been bothered. I’m surprised you could be bothered to to type the question🤔

I know this isn't much help, but my pet hate is people using the word 'strimming' or 'strimmer'

These are trade marked brand names of Black & Decker....strimmer is a bastardization of the words String/Grass Trimmer, which is the name they used to introduce their noddy electric lawn grass edger shite things.

Its like saying 'I'm doing the Hoovering, when what you mean is 'I'm doing the vacuuming'

Notice there is a trade mark logo immediately after the usage of STRIMMER...it's their word.

I know what you mean, but it grips my shit.

    Rant over.

So what you’ll have to do is put a big advert on the side of the van “Clearance saw work” the phone will be red hot🤔

Diesel the donkey not only identifies as an elk, he's successfully transitioned.

Clearly the pet life wasn't for him and he answered the call of the wild, good luck to him.

A man hiking in the California wilderness has stumbled upon a pet donkey that has been missing for five years.

There you go again? Jumping to conclusions, thinking the minority want to be different? Why do you not think that it might be possible that all the elk now identify as a donkey? And they’re just hoping and waiting to be excepted as donkeys so they can get on with the rest of their life’s🤔

I’ve been around 11 n half stone since I was a teenager, my mate said today, you need to put some weight on, I’m sure I don’t, I eat well. Would you think 11 n half stone at 5’8” is far out?

    No dear, you look lovely?

Perhaps, tell him to carry a pouch around his neck or on his person with some Celox in it?

My elderly neighbour fell over in his hallway, whacked his nose.

It looked as though a murder had taken place and when he showed me his bruises a day or so later...

I feel for you guys on the rat poison.

Some older people bruise easily and it can look horrendous but aren’t always on blood thinners? If your a cutter up a tree or on the ground carry a personnel first aid kit anyway?

  7. If you don’t like or agree with what Johnsond posts don’t keep “poking the snake with a stick”? I actually agree with a lot he says and some I don’t. Not everything requires a response. I sure there’s a few on here that aren’t on this forum to read threads that develop into bickering and chest puffing?

Nice use of timber but Concrete or post Crete is the worst thing for timber posts, traps the moisture and speeds decay?

For your peace of mind you might get him to get a doctors note confirming he is fit to work for you. Shouldn't be a problem, if he cuts himself might need bigger plasters or bandages and anything that is an ambulance job is an ambulance job regardless.

He’s not working for him, he works with him. It’s the bosses call. If he doesn’t work with you what’s options? Bet there’s not a queue of potential candidates at the yard gate? There’s lots of manual workers out there on blood thinners, angina, cholesterol, diabetes medication etc that are putting a days work in, probably a better option than some of the younger generation? Same with people over pension age showing up a lot of the young ones. At least they’re not looking for an excuse to stay in bed and watch daytime TV or happy to be wrapped up in cotton wool. Good on them all for cracking on with life and work. I might add I’m not on anything myself, just feel people less fortunate in health that want to work deserve a break.

  10. He’ll be fine, everyone should have quick clot or similar these days anyway. Also don’t let him shave or play with scissors? I’d be more concerned if he was on coke on the weekend or weed🤔

I pay mine 100-120 a day for general labouring with a bit a hedgecutting etc.

But this year cant find anyone

What do you consider as general labouring? Arb groundy,  breaking  down  branches with a chainsaw, cross-cutting, dragging brash, feeding chipper, raking up. Stacking/ loading wood etc?

  12. Being paid for the hours on site and not starting and finishing in yard is complete row locks. If your travelling from home straight to site because it’s closer and easier for you then it’s site hours. Same for subbies, if they travel to yard and travel with the rest they’re paid as well as far as I’m concerned. Thought there was a shortage of decent workers - vote with your feet.
