  1. Not saying its the case here, but I have read a lot of articles in the past and have often walked away with the distinct feeling that the article writers will write anything they can think of just to try and make a name for themselves
  2. I have the Silky fibre glass pole. Nice and light. I treat it delicately though, absolutely never use it for pulling hangers out
  3. £650 here. I know companies that would stretch it to over £1000 easily though
  4. Whats your least favourite tree to climb and why? We were having this discussion in the works truck the other day. For me its Walnut. Theres spikier and nastier trees out there but I never really trust Walnut 100% to support me. That and they are a nightmare in the wet.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
