There has indeed been a lot of time and money put into pushing the extreme right wing threat narrative, there  have also been isolated incidents the most deadly with 3 fatalities dating back to 2000 if I recall correctly. Now factor that against the following and what would any impartial observer see as the biggest threat??.
Those prone to lying and making false statement’s would be as well not replying as far as I’m concerned.

Any meathead in any flag who has nefarious purposes. I'm not one to discriminate..

    Good 👍

Although I presume it’s that “ right  wing extremism “ the media pump out relentlessly that you are actually meaning.
Im looking for all those right wing terrorist arracks bombings, beheadings, stabbings etc etc in the UK Mark ??????? got any links or sources ?

Interesting to see the fact that even those media sources I’d see as left of centre are openly admitting its blatant two tier policing that was witnessed today.

It's possible to support Palestinians and be anti Hamas, in the same way it's possible to support the people of Israel but be against their Zionist government.

Meatheads draped in flags should be sent to Rwanda..

Including those draped in Palestinian flags I take it Mark

Because, whether you like it or not, English patriotism has been hijacked by racism.
I cannot explain why, there is possibly a link to England football fans, all I can say is it’s not the same in France.

Back in 2002 I (as an England fan) managed to convince the wife to holiday in Thailand (Koh Samui) during the World Cup, which just happened to be in a similar time zone to Korea/Japan.

We go to the big tourist pub to watch England v Argentina, packed with England fans and the atmosphere is very nasty and unpleasant, big tattooed bruisers hurling abuse and creating an unsafe environment, some Thai bloke on a moped was lucky to escape a hiding just by riding past the pub wearing an Argentina shirt.

Beckham penalty, England win, big sigh of relief.

2 nights before it’s Ireland against Germany, pub packed with Irish, singing and in good humour all night, despite Ireland losing till the last minute, when Robbie Keane gets a late equaliser, cue joyous pandemonium.

I didn’t feel unsafe for me or the wife the whole evening.

It opened my eyes a bit the contrast between the two nights.

I suspect the sort of ‘patriots’ in the pub for the England game are the same sort on that march.

I hear what people are saying about the Hamas march etc.

But let’s not paint the St George’s March as a real expression of English national pride.

As I said at the beginning of my post there’s good and bad everywhere. I still see double standards in regards the policing and reporting. When you realise that London cabs are not even allowed to fly it on one day a year you know things have gone the wrong way🤷‍♂️
It was my regimental day, so always a good laugh to be had back then and no stigma involved in displaying the flag.
Mick when it comes to football hooliganism English fans are amateurs nowadays.

    Happy St. George's day:

    NEWS.SKY.COM

The Metropolitan Police releases footage showing a group of men - some draped in St George's flags - clashing with officers in Whitehall.

If Corbyn had got in we'd have been able to charge double for the bank holiday.

Watched a lot of that today Mark and as always there’s good and bad but the double standards shown in regards policing this event and the restrictions placed upon it  compared to the numerous pro Palestinian/Hamas marches was blatant as is  the tone of the reporting. I’ve been around a few countries over the years and I’d struggle to name one where the national flag is held in such low esteem as it is here in England. London cab drivers can’t even display it today.

Unlike this whopper, it looks very much like he got caught with his pants down.

    Making the news today:

Mark Menzies, MP for Fylde, used thousands of pounds raised by donors for private expenses. His party had been aware for three months and took no action

Yeah I saw that Mark he deserves everything he gets and more. Total nonce.
Regards informed choice ! We’re you that sensible at 14-15 or whatever it was when you grabbed a sneaky can of lager 🤷‍♂️one go with some of these drugs is enough mate to cause a lifetime of addiction and misery. You know the whole working men’s club scene what it used to be like up our way. A decent night some sociable drinking etc. You can’t compare that to legalised fentanyl or crystal meth etc etc

You didn’t say if you had kids Mark

My youngest two are 15 and whilst I fully expect to go through the coming home pissed routine I can take that as opposed to the horrendous alternatives. Maybe we see more of the negative up here as I’m sure you are aware regarding the drug deaths etc in Scotland.

    Etc.

Very simple really, you and a few others have been called out and found out to be liars. The lowest of the low for a man. On top of that you have zero shame or pride in yourself. Basically the type of individual I’d have zero interaction with if at all possible, as it’s impossible to have any meaningful debate with liars. There’s zero confusion for me or anyone else reading the comments you guys made 🤷‍♂️you told lies and made false accusations and when asked could not provide proof. Lying in other words.

Yes, take it back to another thread and not spamming this one whining about something not relevant here. Will respond where it is relevant.

First step though is to have a grown up, educated, open minded discussion. You seem to be falling at that first hurdle.

The above is the comment at the end of your fellow lying BS artist 42s post. When I get comments like that I’ll remind those dishing them out of the outstanding questions still unanswered elsewhere on the Forum. You and your fellow protagonists were called out as utter liars who could not support your BS claims. End of story. Yet here you all are 🤷‍♂️. If you could have proved it you would have done it in an instant. Why don’t you all hit the ignore button rather than humiliating yourselves. Everyone reading that covid thread knows you were called out big time. Genuinely you guys seem to lack any sense of shame or pride whatsoever.

  9. 24 minutes ago, Steven P said:

hold on, who brought up other threads on this one?

    Ahh....

Yes 100% I did, I genuinely have zero interest in to and fro debates with42 and his Remarks/Questions  or people whom lied and made false accusations on another thread and still even after repeated requests have not provided any proof. Here you all are again nipping away, you guys have no pride or what 🤷‍♂️
Take it back to the thread in question either provide the proof or admit you can’t ffs. Until that point it doesn’t matter how many smart arse posts you put up or how much you like each others bs 🤷‍♂️your credibility is absolutely zero.

I actually took one of the most sensible bits of advice ever posted in that thread and clicked on the ignore button. You can sit on your merry-go-round yelling at the clouds by yourself if you'd like. 🙂

That’s good as your lies and lack of credibility was well and truly called out. Please don’t reply on this thread eh, take it back to where it belongs.

I could score any drug I wanted in a next to no time back home, but I don't. Why do you think that is?

Self control Mark and hopefully you are a bit more sensible or not interested in experimenting 🤷‍♂️genuinely why you don’t is your business but making it legal and easy to get will just open up the opportunities for things to go very badly wrong, 🤷‍♂️my opinion bud, Mark do you have kids ?

So you want the three most dangerous drugs by far, the three that cause the actual vast majority of drug related deaths to remain legal, whilst the rest, lots of them far more benign btw, to remain illegal or unregulated. Why? That stance makes no sense.

What do you propose we do to tackle the drug problem? That's a genuine, not rhetorical, question.

I'm not advocating everything be legalised by the way, I'm just not sure that's the right way to go on this. It's a complex issue for sure, one that requires a nuanced, multifaceted approach. Simplistic, narrow minded thinking, like trying to ban everything we can't yet get a handle on isn't the answer. It's just running away from the problem and trying to pretend it doesnt exist. Worse than that actually, it's abandoning the less fortunate among us, and leaving them to their feat of miserable, untimely deaths. Not a good look.

If not legalisation, then at least bringing drugs under under some kind of state control and hence regulation would be a step in the right direction. Leaving the production and supply in the hands of criminals is obviously not going to be beneficial for anyone concerned. Apart from said criminals. First step though is to have a grown up, educated, open minded discussion. You seem to be falling at that first hurdle.

I’m failing am I 42 🤷‍♂️really, please spare me your word games. You like another on here fond of lies have  literally lost all credibility as far as im concerned. Just ignore my posts if you can, I’ve absolutely zero interest or respect for you or your views.

I couldn't decide whether to post a picture of a tiny violin or a broken record. You poor thing... still waiting?

Still playing with words I see. Peds sadly your  credibility is zero bud after your utter failure to back  up your claims/lies. It’s that simple. If you have any more to say take it to the topic where you made your mouth go. Lying is very much like the topic in discussion here once you start it’s hard to stop.

It has been in the sea for almost 80 years though. Here at least the clearance divers seem to add more HE to the demolition charge to remind people that the stuff can still be hazardous.

From memory the fuzes on aerial bombs are more hazardous than the main charge. None of the ariel bombs on that ship were fuzed, just the bomb let's ,so what is the chance of sympathetic detonation of all of it?

I guess in an accident with that ship,it's not what gets destroyed I the blast radius that's the problem,it's launching bits of ship and uxo into the surrounding area?

In Bergen a ship carrying 12,000 tonn of explosives blew up in town, bits of the ship are still on the hillside.

I get the impression listening to the UXO Supvs on  jobs that, depending on type of explosives in question tbe stability actually can reduce over time.
Fuse wise for sure most munitions onboard should not be armed but 🤷‍♂️I’ve no idea what’s left onboard.
Regarding disposal, the trend nowadays is to go for low rather than high order disposal but that doesn’t always happen as the recent incident in Poland shows.
A common comment I hear is German bombs and fuses are top quality whereas the allied stuff was slightly more “ British Leyland “

The blast of the WW2 bomb in a canal in Poland was not unexpected and divers were...

I’m still waiting for the conclusion of a discussion on a different topic from you and a couple of others, so really can’t be arsed to get into this to and fro be honest particularly with those fond of making  up false claims. If a few on here seem to think that making the crap you are on about legal then-quite frankly you are even more stupid than I previously thought.
