Hi, Im assuming you have a red diesel tank on the yard? Have you tested the tanks for water using some paste such as (http://www.oilandfuelpumps.com/kolor-kut-water-finding-paste.html)? Usual cause for bugs to grow will be water at the bottom of the tank leading to all sorts of problems

Hi John, the machine itself is 4300 kgs without attachments.

Yes that's driver included, The bobcat itself is 4500kg and that particular flail is 750kgs.

I'm charging £30 per hour + diesel for this in West Wales cutting up to 2" diameter material
