    Stihl MS880 chainsaw

Time Left: 4 days and 4 hours

    • FOR SALE
    • USED

I bought the MS880 from F R Jones in March 2016 as a bare saw and the Sugihara solid pro bars and Oregon 27R ripping chains from chainsawbars.co.uk. I used the saw with a Logosol M8 mill to machine a few larch trees and one beech, but have now upgraded to a Woodmizer bandsaw mill - hence the sale. I have a 42" bar (with 1 chain) that's hardly used and a 30" bar (with 4 chains) that are lightly used as you can see from the photos. The whole lot cost me £1597. There is a new nose on the 30" bar - I had an issue cutting some very big beech and that's when I bought the 42" bar. The teeth are sharpened to 10 degrees for ripping, but could easily be sharpened to 25 degrees for cross-cutting. As you can see, the saw is in immaculate condition. I'd be willing to go to £1097 on the saw, bars and chains representing a 32% discount and a saving of £500. I can deliver to the central belt or arrange a carrier at cost. I also head to the south of England from time to time. Thanks.
