  1. When you go into business for yourself you stick your neck out regularly. I could sit here and list dozens of errors I've made, bad machines bought, useless suppliers/service providers I've indulged for years, it's all easy in hindsight. Just get it sorted and move on, if this is the worst mistake you've made all year you've done well.
  2. Knob jokes aside, Both bloody nice tractors.
  3. Cowdray park, near my old stamping ground, you can see some beauts from the road, this one takes some beating though.
  4. Yeah, I liked that scene. I was thinking about this thread whilst walking round the supermarket, anything involving Graham Linehan is excluded, i.e. The IT crowd, Father Ted and Count Arthur Strong, all brilliant.
  5. No biggy, it's just that in an effort to be inclusive and not offend anyone the guys who commission the programmes on tv these days give rubbish like Citizen Khan and Miranda big billing, give them guest spots on The One Show and stuff. Then pat themselves on the backs for their forward thinking progressiveness and forget that a comedy is supposed to be, you know...funny.
  6. No, it was bad even then. But could something like "curb your enthusiasm" ever be made in the UK?
  7. Modern British sitcoms, specifically how poor they are these days, in comparison to the US output, is a hot button subject for me. I blame political correctness.
  8. Nice, some good rigging solutions. Those gardens could use a bit of cheering up though, bit dour.
  9. I've been in and out, I like the Peter Kay character but the young Danny Baker storylines don't really work for me.
  10. No it is (complete crap) bit like Miranda, we're told it's funny repeatedly. It ain't.
  11. Obviously I watched it back in the day, so I'm watching the new series. My verdict, more new bands, never heard of Foals or the Eagles of death metal or whatever they were called, but thought they were great, less Cheryl Cole, and older slebs selling stuff. Loved the duet between Duran Duran and eagles of etc duet at the end.
  12. I trapped my newish, lowering line under a tree recently and had to "unretire" my old big three strand bull rope for a week that I bought 20 years ago. We were pulling some significant trees over with a tractor, using a pulley as well so doubling the strain, even with a significant nick in it, that caused it to be retired. Not knocking LOLER or safety generally, just saying.
  13. https://www.facebook.com/ThisIsReallyStupidLol/videos/398230227054631/ Funniest if you watch it till the very end.
  14. They twist clockwise in the northern hemisphere and anti clockwise in the southern, or is it the other way round? Or I dream that?
  15. [ame] [/ame] I love the way Harry Hill develops a joke.
  16. [ame]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mXzqAC_7Vxg[/ame] Women, for pity's sake, don't drive!
  17. Yes, love that one. I'll post the driving one on the funny vids thread.
  18. If you made some decent coin out of it well done.
  19. Yeah I've worked in offices in close proximity to other humans. I'm a miserable sullen git, I'm guessing that can wear thin.
  20. You'll have to give us a bit of context, what are you both doing to be sitting next to each other?
  21. Easy to say when you have a guaranteed wage from the LA.
  22. Try paying the mortgage from that account.....
