  1. The 131, heard a few people naysaying but I love it.
  2. I've just bought the 4mix stihl, very impressed, powerful, good starter, ticks over nicely, which the older 2 stroke never did.
  3. [ame] [/ame] Same colour as mine as well...
  4. Our cocker, now sadly departed, was weeing (or trying to) all the time, day and night, we went through all the rigmarole of urinary infection stuff, then an échographie which seemed to show either polyps or cancer. We were having to confront the prospect of an operation. My wife went on the internet and googled about, she then changed the dogs diet to an all wet food one(you know pedigree chum canned stuff, no dry food) There was an immediate recovery, I mean within hours, she then lived on for a few more years. As she got older (she was 9 at the time) her kidneys weren't coping with the dry food. The vets never spotted it at all. Might not be relevant but you never know.
  5. Precisely, that's clever but a nightmare to feed.
  6. Saw them a couple of weeks ago here ear Bordeaux. Always a pleasure to see the first.
  7. Nice work, remind me again of the hp of the tow behind Rayco?
  8. I don't really understand, to undo the nut you don't need the torque wrench. My standard sockets can do and undo the nuts on my st8 no probs.
  9. Very often ime, the trees owner will accede to the removal.....if someone else pays. It's often as simple as that.
  10. Do you think the others would be using it?
  11. Is that a 395 on your harness in your avatar Matty?
  12. On the modern ones I'm thinking, PeteB will have the definitive answer.
  13. They're ok, I have found that in high summer they can struggle with leylandii. I'm not agin ´em, but by choice, I wouldn't choose them over standard blades.
  14. Big saws, when you need 'em.....you need 'em. Something like an 088 you'll only buy once in your professional life. I don't use mine often, maybe 8 times a year, but I'm glad I've got it. It's tricky to make a decision, I willl say that whenever I've gone for as much power as I can afford, be it vehicles, saws, tractors whatever, I've never regretted it. 576 is a cracker though!
  15. I have a 576 and a 395. My verdict is...................buy both! A really sharp 576 is good enough for most everything. S'funny you should ask this because I went to the pick up today to cut a pretty big oak butt off an uprooted stump (3ft or so) I got out the 395, tightened the chain, and then my eye caught the 576 sitting there and so I used that, it was lully!
  16. I use one of those blue Swedish strop things with the rope grab. I likes it.
  17. Why did it happen? It was 5 years old, not a bad run really. As for a bigger saw, the 441 is much loved with plenty of grunt, you'll need new bars btw.
  18. Lovely looking pup. Love cockers.
  19. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/members-only/107222-rethinking-quotes-after-acception.html Reference to this Kevin..
