I just use a climbing line/blakes hitch loosely around the stem as a back up. When I use one.

I know! Thing is they had previously sent me another barrel to try and sort another issue. It was exactly the same as the original, didn't sort the issue but I assumed as it had been replaced it couldn't be the problem. The new barrel is a different make, altogether different key etc. Anyway all's well for the moment.

Well, back now and fitted new barrel and keys, runs and starts perfectly. Thanks to Gary at Redwood service for resolving the issue. Glad to have it back working perfectly!
